Read books with the new Kindle Fire

I am really excited to get my hands on this... I hope it is as good as it sounds. For such a low price, it doesn't have to do much and I will be impressed!!!

"You can do a lot more with it than you could with the previous Kindles. The Kindle Fire plays movies, TV shows, and music. It allows you to view web pages and email as well as lets you play games available in the application marketplace. Of course, you can still read books on the Kindle Fire, but if you prefer the E-Ink technology on the previous Kindles to the backlit display of the Fire, you might not like the e-reader as much."

It is almost Thanksgiving already!

It is almost Thanksgiving and there is so much that I am thankful for this year:

I am thankful that I have a boyfriend who loves me as much as I love him. He is my one and only.
I am thankful that I have wonderful parents who support me.
I am thankful that my real friends stick around no matter what.
I am thankful that I can still enjoy the little things in life.

What are you thankful for?

The future

I am really excited about my future.

Today, I sent out a couple of applications for Internships in publishing or editing jobs. I am so excited about it too. I want to jump into it now.

Truth be told writing and editing is my passion. I can hardly remember a time when I didn't keep a personal journal. Over the years the content in my journals have become richer and more interesting yet still light hearted at times.

I have been interested in the English language in general and really enjoy grammar. It seems like an odd thing to be interested in, but I love it. I can have debates with my sister or boyfriend about grammar and absolutely love it.

I am here. And I am ready for my future.
